From Denver
to the mountains.
A dream outgrew
the backyard.
Living in Denver with backyard chickens, a garden, and a growing family, we dreamed of moving to the country.
We wanted to start a homestead — a place where we could use the knowledge and skills we'd developed to provide great food to our community while restoring health to the land at the same time.
The opportunity came in December of 2022. We packed up our family of ten and made the move to Southeast Oklahoma.
With a pair of grandparents and Amie's youngest sister along for the ride, we jumped into this new way of life with both feet.
On a south-facing spur of the San Bois Mountains.
Our farm sits between Wilburton and Hartshorne, Oklahoma — open pasture, warm sun, and the kind of quiet that makes a farm feel like a farm.
We currently raise dairy goats, American Guinea Hogs, meat chickens, and laying hens. We also tend a large garden where the kids love harvesting vegetables to help Mom in the kitchen.

David has worn a lot of hats — award-winning professional cheesemaker, missionary to the lost (where he won his wife's heart), and now the muscle behind the farm.
Amie
The Mom
Homeschooling mom of nine, home chef, and gardener. Amie serves her family and community faithfully — she is the heart of what we do.
